Account Manager â San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
Location: Onsite â San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
Salary Range: $80,000 â $90,000 (based on qualifications)
Schedule: Flexible shift work, including mornings, split shifts, and occasional weekends.

As an Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind daily airline operations, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and well-structured system for passenger and baggage handling. You will lead by example, making critical operational decisions while fostering a high-performing, motivated team.
What Youâll Do: Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team â Hire, onboard, train, and mentor a team of aviation professionals to deliver high-quality service in a collaborative, positive work environment.
Ensure Operational Excellence â Oversee daily workflows, troubleshoot operational issues, and make decisions that ensure safety, efficiency, and exceptional passenger experiences.
Drive Employee Engagement & Performance â Conduct coaching and performance reviews, develop training opportunities, and support your teamâs growth and retention.
Maintain Scheduling & Compliance â Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and compliance with airport regulations and internal protocols.
Optimize Business & Financial Performance â Monitor budgets, labor costs, billing, and service quality to ensure optimal performance and profitability.
Build Strong Client Relationships â Serve as the point of contact for airline partners, lead monthly performance reviews, and identify improvement opportunities.
Ensure Safety & Compliance â Oversee required trainings and maintain a high standard of safety and regulatory adherence.
What You Bring: 5+ years of experience in above-the-wing airline operations in a supervisory role, ideally with exposure to broader management responsibilities.
Experience with legacy international carriers or ground handling companies is strongly preferred. Proven leadership skills â You inspire, coach, and retain high-performing teams.
Fluent in English and Mandarin; additional languages are a plus. Organizational and tech skills â Especially with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Problem-solving mindset â Calm under pressure and decisive when it matters most.
Flexibility & dedication â Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays in a 24/7 airport environment.
