Azure Cloud Security Engineer - 100% Remote (US) - Contract to Hire

Our client, a mid-sized organization with massive-sized digital assets to protect, has asked us to identify an Azure Cloud Security Engineer to join their SOC team on a contract-to-hire basis. In other words, you would work 40 hours per week as a consultant paid hourly (~62hr W2 or 70hr 1099) by us for ~6 months, then you would be given the opportunity to convert to our client's payroll with salary (~135k), plus benefits, perks, and career path.
The Role: Design, implement, and maintain security measures to safeguard their systems, networks, and data. Identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and ensure that all digital assets remain secure against intrusions and breaches. You'll administer their security platform and tools, including Azure, O365, Email/Web filtering, OLP, SIEM, and IPS systems, and more.
You: 5+ years of enterprise security with a focus on Azure Cloud.
You can work from anywhere in the US if you can work standard working hours based on EST time. The pay (hourly and salary) depends on your experience and expectations, so let's dig in to see if it is a fit.
