Pharmacy Technician – Central Fill Warehouse
Location Memphis, TN | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $22/hour
• Tuesday–Friday, 11:00 AM–9:30 PM
ROLE IMPACT
Support the central fill pharmacy by ensuring seamless medication dispensing operations through inventory control, order fulfillment, and technical support. This role contributes directly to medication safety and efficiency by maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting pharmacists in critical dispensing tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist pharmacists with order fulfillment, including manual picking, labeling, and verification
• Operate automated sorting and counting equipment
• Replenish stock and retrieve refrigerated items as needed
• Track, manage, and return inventory including expiring or recalled items
• Support dispenser troubleshooting and occasional SOP documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License required
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (warehouse setting preferred)
• National certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Climate-controlled warehouse; occasional entry into refrigerated storage
• Use of automated pharmacy and inventory systems
• Manual handling of pharmaceutical supplies
• Extended standing and movement throughout shifts
PREFERRED SKILLS
• SOP and work instruction development
• Client communication experience in a healthcare setting
• Drug data entry and labeling systems expertise
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
